It’s hard to think that a year ago, I was sitting down and starting celineberry. It’s hard to think a year has gone by, for everyone. I woke up this morning wondering how crappy this day will be, seeing as how optimist (and sarcastic) I am. I started by setting up my Time Capsule, and before you start thinking about what I’m talking about, I’m talking about Apple’s Time Capsule to run my laptop on. Anyways while doing this, I came across Steve Jobs biography by Walter Isaacson. I really never had the intention of reading it just because I’m already a little too obsessed with Apple products ( I almost feel like I’m in a cult ), so I just left Jobs’s biography sitting on a pile of books.I’m somehow wanted to look through it and feel the untouched pages and on the first page I opened up, I read a quote from Apple’s “Think Different” commercial from 1997 : “The people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world are the ones who do”. That quote would not only put a smile on your face, but also make you read the whole damn book.
That whole thing got me thinking about change and about how we all change, some of us more than others. And on that note, I’d like to talk about how I’ve changed in the past year, yes you read right, I want to talk about me. At first I thought a blog was really selfish, you know talking about yourself all the time, but it’s not. You see, at first, I didn’t think anyone would actually read this blog, that’s why no one knew about for months. I wouldn’t say it was secret, because it’s on the internet so anyone can see it. I slowly started talking about it more and thought to myself, what do I have to lose? I have things to say so why not tell them to as many people possible.
I realized that people were starting to like reading my posts and I didn’t care anymore, because I had things to say, and they were starting to be heard! I’m always one who said I was fed up with society and wanted to make change, but I couldn’t let myself break the rules. I figure that if celineberry is allowed to break some rules, than I am too. I’ve spent the past year trying to figure out where I am in society, and frankly I still don’t know, but I am sure proud of myself for where I am now.
This is why, I want to personally thank all the readers that have been by this blog regularly or even just once. I also want to thank even more the people that have encouraged me to continue writing, on this blog and even more in my personal life (they know who they are). I’m going to end this post here and get back to reading that biography (turns out it’s pretty interesting after all). Remember it’s not easy to change someone, but one in a while people do change in their own time and way and that’s the attitude you need to change the world.
